One of our cross-site network providers is performing essential maintenance on one of our links. Minimal impact is expected and this should be considered “At Risk” with some reduced redundancy on the connection.
One of our cross-site network providers is performing essential maintenance on their equipment. This will mean one of the connections will be relocated causing a period of reduced redundancy. The works have been scheduled between Wednesday 12th September 22:00 BST to Thursday 13th September 04:00
Secure operate with redundancy built into the network, and traffic will be re-routed around the other links in our environment. We will be manually shutting down the affected link during the maintenance window to give us full control of traffic. When this occurs, customers may experience a few seconds of increased latency for any traffic flowing between sites or from the internet to their servers. During the maintenance, cross-site traffic will be operating at reduced redundancy only. As such this should only be considered “At Risk”
We will follow up this maintenance notification with firm dates and times when we have received additional information from our provider.
This work has been completed without issue.
