Customers may have experienced unexpected VM restarts.
We are currently experiencing an unusually high number of host failures across multiple VPC availability zones. We have identified multiple root causes for these recent incidents including; a firmware bug, a driver bug and an VMware NSX memory leak.
We are preparing to rollout a number of firmware and software updates to address these issues under emergency maintenance.
These issues have resulted in host failures which causes High Availability to initiate which then reboots the VMs on the affected host(s).
