Good Morning,
Unfortunately at 04:14 this morning we were alerted to the following host in our VEN datacentre becoming unresponsive;
sec-ven-c-hv10.isl.securacloud.com
We are working with VMWare to try and recover the host without impacting customer virtual machines which are still currently operating without incident however should we have to reboot the host then these virtual machines will suffer a brief outage.
If this occurs the customers who’s virtual machines reside on the host will be notified via a ticket in the service desk for awareness.

Update – 05:20
Unfortunately we will be required to reboot all of the VM’s located on the above host in order to shut it down.
We will raise an individual ticket to each customer informing them of the VM’s impacted titled as per this status.
If you do not receive a ticket then this issue will not have impacted you.
Update – 06:22
The host and all affected virtual machines have now been rebooted.
The affected host (sec-ven-c-hv10.isl.securacloud.com) has been placed into maintenance mode so as not to cause any further disruption and we will now monitor this host and continue to work with VMWare to resolve.
No further updates will be provided until we place the host back into the availability pool.
Update – 12:29
We have seen that the host is now stable since this mornings efforts and we believe the issue was caused by a failed SD Card on the host.
We will look to arrange replacement as soon as possible but in the interim this host does appear to be stable again running on it’s secondary SD card.
We will be closing off all customer tickets and this notification and continuing to work on fixing the host issues under service ticket #374910.
